 Our produce department is still the shining star of Mariposa Market. During the course of the year 80% to 90% of our produce is certified, or registered organic, the rest being locally grown, with sustainable practices. We carry only a few non-organic items regularly, including bean sprouts, jicama, and large white mushrooms, as there are no reliable organic sources for these items.
 Mariposa Market receives fresh produce deliveries on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with local produce coming in as it is harvested. Our produce is carefully tended to inspire freshness and appeal.
Mariposa Market has developed significant relationships with our local producers striving for quality and presentability, while supporting their endeavors at sustainable farming.
 Mariposa Market also provides our customers with fresh flowers and some potted ornamental plants year round, with local flowers available seasonally. In the spring months watch for organic seeds and vegetable starts.
 Don't forget to bring your own bags and containers from home, and keep track how many you use while shopping, because Mariposa Market will give you credit at the register for every one that you use. And, for our customers over 60, Mariposa Market offers a discount on all of your purchases (excluding special orders), just ask your cashier at check out.
